Trigun /Stampede: Unlimited Blade Works

Doesn't Rosa realize that Knives' objective is the PLANT? Vash being here or not doesn't really matter because he would come to the town eventually, sooner or later.

Porthya • 1 year ago

She's not thinking straight rn, and she's looking to vent. They know she's spouting nonsense, but they leave it be cause she's traumatised and Tonis seems to be slowly dying.

Damn, I didn't realize the stakes were this high in this anime. I thought it would be pretty tame like the original... But after seeing the blood splatter in the 3 women fighting against the MC's brother scene, this anime is quite gory. Which I absolutely love.

It seems I'll need to turn the sympathetic part of my brain though, else I'll become way too depressed lmao.

Doesn't Rosa realize that SHE'S PREGNANT!? Chill woman! I understand your a bad ass but for the sake of my nerves please stop.

Porthya • 1 year ago

She can't chill, no matter how helpful Vash might want to be, the humans living on that planet depend on Plants for literally any and every resource covering daily basics we take for granted, starting with Water. The planet itself is a desert, and they can't easily travel to another city with all that population. She has 2 children who would both die under normal circumstances from trying to cross the desert with no resources. So her only option is to try and fight. Vash's idealism makes it look like there are options, but between the lack of resources and Knives' psychopathological behaviour and very similar group, you can only die trying to fight.

BarDes • 1 year ago

Bro chill, we're literally watching the same thing I don't need a lecture on how the universe works. Just sayin' maybe she should also consider her current condition and my poor nerves.

Porthya • 1 year ago

Sis, chill, if you don't need a lecture, do consider the circumstances the characters are set in yourself, I don't think you're in a life or death situation while watching anime, unlike her and her children, not to mention the rest of those around. There's a reason even Meryl doesn't call her out on her lack of chill, the woman is under the most pressure out of all the named characters.

BarDes • 1 year ago

It was a joke...
I am considering her circumstances, but I guess we can just agree to disagree...

rachetmarvel • 1 year ago

And thanks to her actions her son died, lol.

Porthya • 1 year ago

Your trolling only gets you added to my ignore list, I still need my brain cells.

Zhang Qiling • 1 year ago

Ikr! Like how the hell she didn't miscarry or something after all that running, fighting, flying around, and shit lmao

Deus The Great • 1 year ago

Ofc woman.

Seriously, Vash told that old a*s woman to f*cking get away from the town. She was the one who killed her own son.

Qween Qingzanor • 1 year ago

Yeh, Rosa's ravings are her copium.

Ironically, if this were the 1st anime, she'd have had a point since Knives' henchmen followed Vash around goading him to kill, apart from the bounty hunters that followed him, & Knives didn't retrieve plants, so there was plenty collateral damage following Vash around. The destruction from the loads of people facing Vash was worse than what an average criminal could cause.

However, the story in 1st anime turned out quite differently, & I don't know about the original manga.

But this remake is concurrently goofier & grimmer compared to initial anime.

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

Knives is whole goal is to get Vash on his side and eliminate all humans and feels superior to them Bit a about the characters for people who don't mind being spoiled but you may have figured out pretty much all of this from the ques given. They were discovered by humans who were surveying planets to colonize. They were never suppose to land on this planet as it barely supported much water. Plants on the contrary were created by humans to support creating resources like water. Vash has a strong sense not to kill as it was taught to him from the one who raised them and treated them as family til Knives sabotaged the ship and ship and she died. Vash and Knives have watched humanity for a long time and are not exactly as young as they look.By the way if you haven't figure that Knives and Vash are not human but plants themselves that were found and little more special.

James • 1 year ago

It's like the new guy's read the title and what people have said about vash and made a story line from there. This is completely trash from the original. New guy 1: what ability should we give Million Knives? New guy 2: how about being able to control a million knives!

We need love and peace back. Not this grade schooler trash.

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

But Knives literally could create and control weapons so it falls in with exactly that. Also Vash represents love and peace because of Rem's philosophy of don't kill. Vash still seems to be Vash asides he isn't covering up his sadness with his goofiness that he did in the original. On the contrary that didn't even last after the current arc in the original and it all plays down the same that Rosa dismisses him the same and the 2 follow him. Knives still is pretty much still Knives. An absolute dick that feels superior to humanity and wants to kill them off and understands his abilities better then Vash. Probably will see Vash have to fight all the leaders again to just get to Knives like the original. It's honestly going down the same way asides seeing Knives so early maybe.

Captain Agilek • 1 year ago

yeah dude what have they done to Trigun...it's completely different than manga

Violetta Bertini • 1 year ago

Uh? Vash and Knives were not "discovered by humans", they were created as human/plant hybrids.

I believe plants only generate power, not water directly.

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

They were unique and not like other plants. A lot of the events happened because what happened to their sister.

Diksis • 1 year ago

you can spoil me if that motherfucker dies?

Reemus • 1 year ago

Welcome to convenient dialogues where no one objects to clear nonsense, for the dramatic value.

Porthya • 1 year ago

They don't object because they realise she's not in a clear state of mind, her child is probably dying in her arms, slowly, with no help available on a range of tens or hundreds of miles...and her friends were gorily slaughtered right in front of her or while she was trying to get them away from their attacker. You'd be spouting nonsense too if such crazy stuff happened to you.

rachetmarvel • 1 year ago

Stop making excuses for her.

Porthya • 1 year ago

I'm not making excuses for anyone, kid. I'm explaining some simple, basic things we call "common sense" in real life. You're free to keep your head in the sand, but if you imagine you can force me to do the same, I've got news for you.

Well..but Vash told them to get out of town...who tf told that woman to come back lmao. At the end of the day, she got her villagers killed including her own son. And that sh*tty woman just feel grateful when it was convenient for her. Woman.

Bellchi4ever • 1 year ago

It seems for me her NPC mode was turned on for that scene and she forgot that she can die and there is no reset for her to start from the start again.

That one guy who calmly ran off to create a safe distance once the bomb was activated was a real one. Didn't even show any sign of fear in the face of imminent death.

F and L for that old woman.

Reemus • 1 year ago

Given that Gofsef seems to be alive, he too could have survived like a true chad. The series is brutal, but seems to be sparing the characters a lot... if only to, maybe, make them suffer more later.

SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

you say that after a two women exploded via sharp objects

Imperial Dragoon • 1 year ago

you say that like they had any significance other than exploding via sharp objects.

SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

wow how nice of a person you are Mr.WrinkleMan not caring for the general people of the town alright guess we may as well finish off the life of Tonis xd

Jazze • 1 year ago

i mean the point is if you kill of a bunch of nameless filler charecters but none of the named established charecters then yes the deaths mean basicly nothing.
and it's especially obvious when Knives kills the 2 women bsides her but then just stops his rampage for no real reason once Rosa is all that's left.

SenicAsianRoute • 1 year ago

saying they have zero feeling is like watching a war themed movie an saying all the chaos is meaningless and or emotionless XD
Hacksaw Ridge is emotionless because no main character died lol

Imperial Dragoon • 1 year ago

collateral damage.

Zhang Qiling • 1 year ago

Exactly my thought!

Deus The Great • 1 year ago

Meanwhile, a woman who indirectly killed her own son by ignored MC's warning blamed a guy who literally saved her a*s and her son multiple times. Seriously, i got it when she needed to hand Vash over for money for the Plant, but now she probably one of my most hated character in the series. She's old just only for her appearance but not her brain, unfortunately.

Imperial Dragoon • 1 year ago

She's a patriotic bar lady who ended up biting off more then she could chew. I kind of expect everyone else besides the main cast to be collateral damage. It's unfortunate, if she wasn't ignorant of the threat it would've made a big difference but that's not this story.

Porthya • 1 year ago

The problem isn't being unaware of the threat, the problem here is being aware of the threat and having only 2 options: either try to fight said threat off, or go into the desert with no resources and die, along with your children, slowly from dehydration and exposure.
Oh, I guess there'd be a 3rd option, try to hand the Plant over and still get slaughtered like sheep by Knives and his band of looneys.
And if you somehow survive that, die from being left behind in a barren town with no water and other resources only the Plant provides.
